Why shouldn't we see Glenn Greenwald's "Let Russia Have Ukraine" argument as literally repeating Kremlin talking points?
First of all, where did the Kremlin say "Let us have Ukraine?" They reluctantly invaded in 2022 after years of frustration over broken promises from a West that was baiting them into war for the purpose of destabilizing Russia a'la Afghanistan.
You're probably not going to like this, but "Russia reluctantly invaded" sounds like a Kremlin talking point. Russia invaded in 2014, was occupying Crimea and had been providing troops and weapons to fight in eastern Ukraine since that time. Those are facts.
How many people have been prosecuted and convicted for whatever Trump was convicted for?
"The Manhattan DA’s office has filed charges for falsification of business records 9,794 times since 2015. When announcing the charges, Bragg emphasized the importance of the integrity of business records in Manhattan, the 'home to the country’s most significant business market.' He explained: 'We cannot allow New York businesses to manipulate their records to cover up criminal conduct.' At the time of Trump’ s indictment, Bragg, had already filed 120 cases alleging violations of 175-10, all of them in the first degree based on the concealment or commission of another crime."
Didja see this about the beautiful 1898 GE Thomson Surrey?
It’s just kept just a couple hours north from here, in wonderful running condition. Apparently on 3 were made and this is the last remaining. Photo depicts GE founder Elihu Thomson driving with Thomas Edison and Hermann Lemp.
For those who get the Movies! channel, tomorrow 6/4 is showing High Anxiety at 8 AM, followed by Young Frankenstein, two of Mel Brooks' classic comedies. Later at 3:40 watch The Cheap Detective, and next The In Laws, followed by a rarely shown classic, What's Up Doc.
Wednesday at 8 PM, Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House.
I don't know of anyone who couldn't use a good laugh right now. These are among my favorites, not a disappointing film among them.
The less than 20% figure did not mean all polls and it actually came from NATO, not Diessen (who was not lying--but being less precise in a consolidated verbal presentation).
Diesen spoke very precisely in the video, from notes in his hand: “We see every single poll, be it Ukrainian, Western, Russia, from 1991 to 2014 — every single poll.”
He didn’t have to be that explicit, but he chose to be. Just as he chose the words “take back” to refer to Russia’s seizure of Crimea. Just as I chose not to watch this guy any further.
Just as you chose to ask for only one example, which you have received.
